I was looking through all the pictures on facebook to make a ‘year in pictures’ post and realised i never posted any of my birthday! These are from a couple of months ago, but better late than never! For my birthday this year i wanted to have a High School Musical-esque prom! So a bunch of us got dressed up round mine, then met up with everyone else and went clubbing.
We set up a photo area with a tripod to get some ‘nice’ pictures of all our outfits before we went out, it was really fun! There are zillions of them, so here are just a select few i’ve put up on my flickr…
I got my dress off eBay, it looks great but weighed a ton!! Also because it was so heavy i had to keep pulling it up, and let me warn you drunk people and sequin dresses dont mix – in the morning i had cut my fingers away from the underneaths of some of my fingernails yuk!
I think this is everyone who got ready at mine before we headed out – it was so fun to get all dressed up and all smart
You can really see the effort that went into make the backdrop here – who’d have thought an old shower curtain, the offcuts of Alicias dress and some masking tape could look so lovely?!
