Apologies for the deadness of the blog all week, and the flurry of posts today as i catch up, i’ve had so much extra traffic to the shop and heycavey.com that I had to upgrade the server :) Its been a really fun week, Caveys release was a huge success and im so so happy about it, it feels like all the hard work behind the scenes s starting to come together! Onwards with the photos!

Me and Vicky made this beautiful lemon drizzle unicorn cake at the weekend. It was deeeeelicious! You can’t see it so well in the pictures but its covered in glitter :) It started because i wanted to make a cake with the new pan i got at Ikea, then we found out we were going to a birthday party so we combined the two into this gorgeous master piece. Then this happened….

Day 236 of my Flickr 365day project
Got my hair did Back to pink,the purple kept getting on stuff and i couldn’t stand it any longer! purple nails, hands, towels, bed, neck, clothes, blech! Maddi worked her magic on me and now im root-free and back to pink, very happy bunny! I also got these sunglasses this week on eBay, i love how big they are.

Guinea pig fun This is the Lizard Man’s new trick, she lays on her back and you can stroke her tummy. Its so cute i can’t stand it! I think she looks like a little fat koala like this <3

yes, i had an etsy shop for a few years and made a lot of sales on there, its a great way to meet other crafty types, too :)
