Follow these simple steps to make a cute case for those mini handbag-sized nail files. All you need is some felt and a couple of buttons – if you dont have little buttons you could ways sew on small circles of felt.

Applehead Custom 3″ Dunny

Here’s a few pictures of my custom 3″ Dunny, ‘Applehead’. Applehead began life a production Dunny, I started by stripping him and painting with a white cellulose primer, all the colour work was done in acrylics and sealed with matte lacquer, with the ‘apple’ being finished with layers of full gloss lacquer, with metallic and pearlescent powders mixed in so it has a lot of depth. I made the vines from wire and some already tiny fake leaves that i cut down further.

The base is a clear acrylic oval painted purple on the underside and polished around the edge. The foliage is varying grades of model makers grass/stones and soil, with long tufts of grass dotted around. His little mushroom friends were sculpted from fimo.

Valentines Animal Brooches

I’ve created six bunny and kitty brooches specially for Valentines day in pretty pinks, red and grey tones. Each brooch has a hand cast, hand painted resin face set into a plush back and finished with a safety clasp. The face is an original sculpt by me and is sealed with layers of clear lacquer for a durable finish. Each brooch comes in an organza bag ready for gift giving. Avaliable in the shop now.

Now in the shop is this limited run of six one-of-a-kind creature scarves. Get ‘em while they’re hot! Made from high quality fur fabrics and lined with soft polar fleece. Fastens securely with a button. Approx 90cm long, and nice and wide to keep you snug.

Easter Bunny

I’ve just added this albino bunny to my shop – right in time for Easter! She’s made from super soft velvet with a bobbly faux sheepskin head and ears. She has long white fluffs coming out of her ears, which are pose able with soft-coated armatures inside. I carefully airbrushed over each joint and seam to give her an antique look. As with all my toys she is totally unique and one-off and for sale here Edit: Sorry, Albino Easter Bunny is now sold

This little bunny is a totally unique one-off art toy. She’s around 12″ tall(not including her ears) Her face is an original sculpt by me, I then hand cast each one in resin. The face had been airbrushed and painted before being sealed with 3 layers of matte lacquer all over and a further 5 layers of gloss on her eyes and lips. She has weighted feet and a weighted bottom and free moving teddy bear joints in her shoulders and hips so she can sit and stand unassisted. Her head is sewn on but still has enough movement to allow you to pose her easily.

I’ve just added four new bunny brooches to the shop. The Skull one is a new design, and the only little scrap of that skull fabric i had left so if you like it snap it up – there will never be another one!

Flower Brooch

So I made this Flower-bunny brooch hybrid as a bit of an experiment, and before we went out on Friday me Alicia and Vicky took some ‘promo’ shots for the website. Not quite sure how effective they’d be as advertising but they sure were fun to take!

What do you think of the new brooch design – should i make some for the shop?
