Yippee! Another great week of sunny weather and fun times here. I’ve been working on lots of secret project that i hope to reveal soon! I also released my first plush toy for a good few months, and he sold out in less than 12 hours which was just amazing, so big  thanks everyone who reads the blog and a big hello to new readers! My favouritest part of this week was Vicky and Louis’s house warming party last weekend, i took lots of pictures…….

Day 156 of my flickr 365days project

I got new glasses, do you like ‘em? I find it so difficult to find new frames i like – it was a toss up between these £14 honeys from TK Maxx and £280 Chanel ones, seriously! I’ve got a lot going on with the hair and the lip piercings, a lot of glasses make me look like a cartoon/total tool, so im well chuffed with these, i feel like a fancy librarian :)

See, it wasn’t all cocks and balls, the present inside was nice! A home sweet home sampler for Vicky and Louis’s new house, with stuff they like on it – a bunny, shoes an a handbacg for Vicky, and a Skateboard, New Era hat and Car for Lou Lou.

Last weekend was all about clearing our the garden (many trips to the dump later its now turfed, and beeeeeautiful!) and then helping Vicky and Louis move into their new abode. To even out the hard work we drank a whole lot of Ron Ron juice, its gets a girl feelin’ loose! If you watch Jersey Shore you’ll know what i’m talking about – Ron Ron juice is what they drink before they go out and rub themselves on each other. If you don’t watch Jersey Shore then what on earth is wrong with you! You need it in your life, its the funniest stupidest show ever.

So I got Vicky this Hello Kitty pillow as a little house warming gift, and the Hello Kitty pillow game started out innocently enough “hey hey vicky get a picture of me, look this is brilliant!” but quickly went waaaay wrong….

We hid post-its alllll over the house, we hid them so well they’re going to be finding them for weeks, mwa ha ha ha! I went round the next day and when i got out a cup to make a tea it said “i can see you” inside, oooooh creepsy.

This pimp cup is big, like seriously big, i recon you could get a whole bottle of wine in there, or WKD blue like a true gangsta. I got it on eBay, they had much ruder ones than this, too – mercy!

Omg the £1 machine in Sainsburys has HELLO KITTY RINGS. Theres a clear hot pink one i’m desperate for, if anyone else out there has it wanna do swapsies? Ive been saving up my £1 coins all week to blow in the machine this weekend!

And Last but not least, Jonjos rubbish answer to the drum n’ bass step. This proper cracks me up every time i hear it, and Maddi’s ridiculous laugh in the background is just too much! I’m having a bit of a lucky streak this week, on Thursday my Zelda heart container cupcakes won 2nd prize in the valentines contest on Instructbles.com, then the next day I won tickets to Hospital Record’s Q+A+E. Yippee!! Other than that a quiet week for week in pictures, i even managed to go to a party last weekend and not take one picture, bad Holly!

I got the recipe from Laurens Recipe book. They were really easy to make and taste exactly like Millies cookies! I even made a wheat free version for one friend who dosen’t eat wheat, by substituting the self raising flour for gram flour and a quarter tsp of bicarbonate of soda. Next i’m going to try making the double chocolate ones mmmmmm

This is the latest cross stitch im working on, but its a little cryptic for now as its a birthday present and i don’t want to spoil the surprise! :)

Duck Hunt hama beads, more pictures coming soon! I think this is the biggest hama bead thing i’ve made so far, i needed to get the clip together type boards for it. They make you buy them in a pack of 4 so now i have plans for EVEN BIGGER hama bead stuff! :D

We gave Big Sooz’s mates a make over too. I think the pink head one looks pretty saucy in his sombrero! And check out the little guy (is it just me who thinks he looks likea cock and balls?!) in his Mr T necklace, nice!

I Hello Kitty-fied Vicky’s new heels. They were a plain pair of black velvet pumps, i made the bows out of red ribbon and glued on some hello kitty faces id saved from some broken hairclips, and viola! Hello Kitty shoesies! Every Monday the girls come to mine for craft time and Glee. It’s my favourite night of the week!

I’m very lucky that my bff is also a superstar hairdresser, here’s me getting my hair did this week (we stripped the pink out so we could dye it purple). Check out what i’d look like if i had ‘normal’ hair, we reckoned i look like Hillary Clinton!

What a week! Did lots of brilliant crafty stuff and got a new camera, so i have lots f pics to share this week! :)

So my most exciting news from this week was getting a new camera! After much deliberation with the very helpful man in the shop i chose a Lumix TZ7 in a beautiful metallic matte brown. It takes such amazing close ups i was driving everyone crazy all weekend taking a zillion photos and then making them watch them back on the big TV mwa ha ha!

.

And the second most exciting thing for me this week was playing around with Macstitch, you can make any image into a cross stitch chart, or even a knitting pattern! I had a quick mess around making this painting of mine into a cross stitch, the program even asks you what bran of thread you want to use and gives you a shopping list of what colours to buy. Me and Maddi have big plans for crafty stuff we’re gonna make! Rock n roll!

Aaaaaand, we finally put the Christmas tree outside! its been the first weekend for ages that the ground hasn’t been frozen. It looks so cute and small outside and i’m so glad to have it out of the living room, people would come round and be all like “oh you’ve still got your Christmas tree up?!” like we’re crazy Christmas people.
