Yay Friday! Today im finishing up some custom orders and working on a new bunch of bunny brooches. The little white guy on the left is a Jellyfluff, i made him last night 
Heres some pictures of one of my newest plushes. Her name is Florence (ala Florence and the Machine <3 <3 <3) she is a octogirl who never fitted in at the bottom of the sea, so she came to land to make some friends. She smokes Marlboro reds. I wanted to make another octo-girl along the lines of the one i made for the APW gallery show last Halloween (more pictures here ) but with a more jellyfish’y vibe, so i gave her lots of glittery holographic wiggly tentacles as well as her fluffy green ones.

I didnt know what to expect when i sent her off but with hindsight i wish i’ve made her in brighter colours, her orange eyes stand out when she is the only thing you’re looking at but i think shes a bit blend in against all the other cute toys.

I put her in the post today, she’s off to New York for a halloween toy exhibition. I hope she fits into the show well, i dont know what kind of toys other people are submitting
I’ve been wanting to make a plush with a sculpted face for some time now. I’ve been working on this while ive been moving house and not been sewing. I have some more faces cast up that i want to get working on, too. I’m also super excited about getting my new toy labels, click ‘read more’ for a pic!

This is another few from a few months ago but its been something thats been in my mind for a long time. I am playing around with it as a tattoo idea. The pencil sketches are very pale but i want to paint these over and finish them soon!
