What a week! Did lots of brilliant crafty stuff and got a new camera, so i have lots f pics to share this week!

So my most exciting news from this week was getting a new camera! After much deliberation with the very helpful man in the shop i chose a Lumix TZ7 in a beautiful metallic matte brown. It takes such amazing close ups i was driving everyone crazy all weekend taking a zillion photos and then making them watch them back on the big TV mwa ha ha!

And the second most exciting thing for me this week was playing around with Macstitch, you can make any image into a cross stitch chart, or even a knitting pattern! I had a quick mess around making this painting of mine into a cross stitch, the program even asks you what bran of thread you want to use and gives you a shopping list of what colours to buy. Me and Maddi have big plans for crafty stuff we’re gonna make! Rock n roll!

Aaaaaand, we finally put the Christmas tree outside! its been the first weekend for ages that the ground hasn’t been frozen. It looks so cute and small outside and i’m so glad to have it out of the living room, people would come round and be all like “oh you’ve still got your Christmas tree up?!” like we’re crazy Christmas people.

Also putting a smile on my face this week: Roast dinner with yorkshire biscuits (?!) / Planning a margarita party / Finishing customs / Duck hunt hama beads / Reconnecting with an old friend <3 / Getting everyone over to watch Glee / Getting pledged more squares for Project Blankie / 5 minute chocolate cake

I’ve had such a fun week! After my birthday last week i’ve been thoroughly spoilt by all my wonderful friends and generally getting treated like a little darlin’

So heres some pics from my rainbow party. It was awesome and i was so impressed with everyones colourful outfits! We had rainbow jelly, rainbow food, rainbow shots, I even tie dyed a rainbow top for Jonjo using this instructable. It was so fun and easy to do me Vicky and Maddi are going to have a tie dye day soon and make all our boring white clothes rainbow! weee!

At some point we decided to get out the stash of emergency cat hats i’ve got on top of my wardrobe

Most of my pictures came out really blurry, I wish i’d got photos of everyone and what they were wearing, my flat was full to bursting with people in rainbow outfits!  It was awesome and i had such a nice time

.

Then on Sunday I went to see Miley Cyrus live in concert. I have never seen so many 6 year old girls in sequin dresses and cowboy boots! Miley was so amazing, I spent the whole gig singing along with a big goofy grin on my face and by the end i’d lost my voice, my hand were red from clapping and my face hurt from smiling.

We’ve been getting the house a bit more Christmassy, we got a real tree which is lush – I’ve never had a real tree before. I made an instructable on how we did the decorations which you can see here. Now i just need to finish making presents, eeep!
