This week for me has been all about sculpting, drum and bass, home improvements, custom toys, girls night out, Avatar, Gossip Girl and having fun with friends. Here’s a little update on whats been going on around here this week…

.

Podcasts: If you’re into drum and bass I highly recommend the John B Podcast, i only subscribed in the last few weeks and i’ve been really enjoying it, its such a great way to find out about new music and i love being able to have a play list playing while i’m working. I also massively recommend the Hospital podcast, London Elektricity has been keeping me well entertained for months with his silly noises and random banter.

Gossip Girl Marathon: On Mondays me and Maddi settle down to a Gossip Girl session, we just finished series two, i can’t believe how juicy it is! Already on the case of getting series three, E! News told me Dan Humphrey has a threesome with Vanessa and Hillary Duff. OMGZ getouttaherre!

.

Girls Night Out: A bunch of us had a bit of a girls night out on Saturday night which was a lot of fun! This is the only pictures I took (doh!) but rest assured it was super fun and our outfits were adorable :)

.

Custom Droplet: I’ve been finishing up my Droplet for the launch party in February. This is all i’m sharing for now, more pics of the finished article coming soon! ;)

.

Home Improvements: For years i’ve been collecting nice shaped picture frames and now the snow has finally cleared, and its stopped raining, i got a chance to paint them up ready for hanging. This is just a few of them i want to get enough to cover the entire wall eventually! I’m sure me and Jonjo will have lots of fun and head scratching putting these up this weekend, i just know i’m going to be all “a bit to the left, a bit to the right, a bit to the left” ha!

.

Avatar: Went to see Avatar last night and absolutely loved it, its like being a little kid again everything is so beautiful and new. Before i went i wasn’t sure about it being in 3D but it was really well done and not over the top things flying in your face like some of the 3d films i’ve seen (My Bloody Valentine comes to mind, 2 hours of  pickaxes flying at you!) just really immersive and engaging.

.

Also putting a smile on my face this week: Seeing posters for Alice in Wonderland in the cinema, not long now!! / Getting back in touch with old friends / Dancing your bum off / Making sequin jackets like Miley Cyrus / Planning a tea party / Celebrity Big Brother / Putting pearlescent powder in everything i lacquer
