I’ve been wanting a big octopus necklace for forever, so i got busy making this little (or rather, big) guy! I sculpted him in polymer clay and  then painted him with lots of fine layers of metallic paints. He’s finished with a durable glossy laquer to really bring out the depths of the paints i used. I’m working on a couple more, and some smaller items that will be avaliable in time to buy as Christmas gifts :)

So I made this Flower-bunny brooch hybrid as a bit of an experiment, and before we went out on Friday me Alicia and Vicky took some ‘promo’ shots for the website. Not quite sure how effective they’d be as advertising but they sure were fun to take!

A new item is avaliable in the shop (Edit – sorry they’re all now sold), fluffy bunny brooches! They have the same little resin face as my other brooches but set into a super soft fluffy marabou trimmed back. They were *really* hard to photograph because they are such a vivid green colour :D

Also, im very happy that i now have 100 ‘hearts’ on Etsy yay! When i changed shops (because i wanted my shop name to go with the new site) I was worried i wouldn’t sell anything at all because i looked like a new seller with no feedback, but now it look  like the new shop is going well! :D
