I’ve been wanting a big octopus necklace for forever, so i got busy making this little (or rather, big) guy! I sculpted him in polymer clay and then painted him with lots of fine layers of metallic paints. He’s finished with a durable glossy laquer to really bring out the depths of the paints i used. I’m working on a couple more, and some smaller items that will be avaliable in time to buy as Christmas gifts :)
Before i painted him:
Holly xox

Cavey is a new toy series from A Little Stranger. Each Cavey is lovingly handmade by Holly in the A Little Stranger Studio.
